I skip it every day Martine! I have not seen one bit of convincing evidence as to why breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In fact I think that this idea has arisen out of us having access to an abundance of food and has been sold to us for the purpose of marketing. I’ll have to read the study you cited as I don’t understand how skipping a meal would increase inflammation. Eating is a stress and an inflammatory process in and of itself. Since I started fasting about a year ago I’ve replaced bacon and eggs with a 3 minute cold shower. But if it works for you it works for you! Glad to hear you’ve found pleasure in a new and healthy habit. Keep it up!
