Hi there, thanks for writing and sharing your thoughts. I agree, the more universal you make the policy the more that inequality becomes an issue. In my eyes an ideal UBI would need to be implemented alongside existing welfare policies that assist the types of vulnerable people you have listed above. Of course this brings into question the idea of how you pay for both, which is something that I plan to answer in a second article on the topic.
