I’m glad to hear that you’ve remained open minded throughout your life and that you are enjoying seeing your kids come into their own as adults. Your comments remind me of my old man who is of a similar age as you. I’m older now and our relationship has never been stronger. It’s truly become a reciprocal arrangement in which we both come away having learned something after one of our conversations. I’m very grateful for those individuals who remain open to new ideas and perspectives no matter their age. I view it as a mark of integrity and a trait worth emulating, particularly for the youth of today who are growing up in an increasingly complicated world.
