Hi Matt. Thanks for the read, I thoroughly enjoyed your writing. I agree that enforcing consumer law, breaking up concentrated market power, public ownership of public goods, as well as the other considerations you highlighted are necessary steps toward a post-capitalist system. The problem is how to get from A to B given that the ones holding the reigns of power continue to demonstrate time and time again that they benefit from maintaining the status quo. I guess we can take solace in the fact that the Scandinavian Welfare states exist and that somewhere in the world progress is being made on these fronts. The issue is how to make this blueprint a stable feature of our governance strucutres, immune to election cycles and the voting in of different political parties with divergent interests.
