Couldn’t agree more. Recently heard Aubrey Marcus the founder of Onnit talk about the same thing. If you’re not enjoying the process of life then what is actually the point? Getting swept up in grand visions for the future can debilitate your ability to enjoy all the good shit that is going on around you right now. I’ve found a good way to strike a balance between being goal orientated and being present is to simply vocalize that you’re happy when you’re feeling happy. I did this just yesterday when I was driving home in my car (don’t tell anyone though). Thanks for the read my man. Peace.
